Hi there, Yolanda, and welcome back to planDisney! I am so happy and thankful that you've made us your go-to source for all of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions. As you know, my Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests! It sounds like you're planning an exciting return to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and it will be here before you know it!
Yolanda, I can tell that you've been doing your research on the maximum party size at
Garden Grill Restaurant. After doing a bit of digging myself, I also found that there is no availability for a party of more than six people due to the size and configuration of the tables. If you're traveling with a party of seven or more, you'll need to make two separate reservations for this particular dining experience. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, so I have a few ideas you can try.
First, make your
Advance Dining Reservations at a less-popular meal time, like late lunch or early dinner. Check in early, and inform the Cast Member at the podium that you'd be delighted to sit near each other. I know from experience that Cast Members will do all they can to make this happen, and sometimes, it works out perfectly! Other times, you'll be seated away from the rest of your party. When that happens to me, my consolation is that at least we are all keeping the same schedule as we move throughout the day.
If you'd rather dine as a full group during your time at
EPCOT, which I totally understand, I'd love to recommend
San Angel Inn Restaurante. My large extended family loves to eat here when we travel together because there's something for everyone, and it offers an elevated aesthetic and flavor profile. It truly feels like a special candlelit dinner, no matter the time of day!
Yolanda, I hope this is helpful as you make your plans for your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
