About how much is each game at the resort arcades? My son loves the arcades and I want to reward him with the cost of a game when he does extra chores. We're staying at AOA if it differs per resort.

    Hi Katherine!

That is a great idea to reward your son so that he can earn funds to be able to enjoy the arcades at Walt Disney World Resort! My kids are frequent visitors to the arcade every time we visit.

The arcade uses game points instead of actual currency. What you will do is provide a set amount of funds (using a kiosk inside the arcade) to purchase game points that can be used to play the games. The great thing is that the game cards can be recharged and you can use that same game card at any other arcade within Walt Disney World. I would suggest, proving him with a minimum of $20 to start and work your way up from there, depending on the time he spends in the arcade and the specific video games he chooses to play.

    Have a fun time!
