Hi, there!
Or rather, "Bright Suns!" as they say on the planet Batuu. I'm so excited to hear you'll soon be experiencing out-of-this-world adventures in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!
I can sense the Force is strong with you - well done on getting that reservation at
Savi's Workshop. Constructing your own custom lightsaber under the guidance of the "Gatherers" is an experience you can only enjoy in a galaxy far, far away!
To answer your question, yes, it's perfectly normal to book a reservation that is scheduled after theme park closing. What's extra great about a late reservation is that you get to enjoy
Disney's Hollywood Studios a little longer than other Guests! How cool is that? While theme park closing may be scheduled for 9:00 PM, you'll find that some merchandise locations and even some Quick-Service dining locations will stay open for up to an hour longer.
Your late reservation at Savi's Workshop means that you'll have some unique photo opportunities after you've constructed your lightsaber. I bet you'll be able to get quite a few shots before leaving the park that will make it appear as if you're the only Guests in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!
I hope this was helpful, Vanya. I'm wishing you a force-filled visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
