Bright Suns, Jennifer!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. There's nothing I love more than a split-stay when visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but it's one thing to drive up the road to another Disney Resorts Collection hotel –– splitting your stay between two different galaxies sounds like a truly out-of-this-world experience! But since intergalactic travel requires some serious luggage (after all, you can't just pop into The Emporium for a new t-shirt, right?), I'm happy to share what I know about getting your luggage and your travel party to and from
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
As you might imagine, intergalactic luggage transfers are a little more tricky than transferring baggage between Disney Resorts Collection hotels –– that's why the
Chandrila Star Line requires passengers to bring their own luggage aboard the ship. The great news, though, is that because you're transferring from another Disney Resort to start your voyage,
transportation will be provided for you to
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. That means you'll be able to bring your bags right along with you, so both you and your luggage arrive with no issues.
Since it sounds like you'll be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel after your visit, too (seriously, this sounds like an amazing trip!!!), transportation will also be provided for you to your new hotel once you disembark. All you'll need to do is stop by Passenger Services, located in the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal, and they'll be able to provide you with a taxi voucher to take you to your next Resort. Again, you'll be able to take your luggage with you and store it at the Bell Services desk of your new Resort in the event your room isn't quite ready.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Jennifer. I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you think of anything new, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always here to help!
Till The Spire,
Amy
