I have gained so much knowledge from this panel - Thank you. 2 ques. 1) Can you order off QSM at Theme Parks and take back to Resort Room? 2) Are Theme Park restrooms cleaned/swept routinely throughout the day. Can't stand stand clogged loos

    Erika:

I have ordered several times from the Quick Service restaurants and then taken it back to the room for breakfast or lunch the next day.  The best place to do this, I've found, are in the restaurants that have refrigerated cases, like Sunshine Seasons, where the food is already in a to-go box.  Not all quick-service restaurants will have boxes for easy transport.

But how we jump to bathrooms is beyond me...

However, I've joked with some of the others on the Mom's Panel that I'm going to write a book on the best and worst restrooms at Disney World!  Although I would not consider myself a germaphobe, I pay attention to the details, and I have four children who never go at the same time....  I would have to say that 9 out of 10 visits to one of the restrooms in the theme parks is very pleasant and certainly well above the average when you compare its restrooms to other theme parks or sporting venues. I'd put them on par with what you'd find at an airport: clean, well-lit, and fully stocked with both paper and hygiene products. Most of the time, you'll probably find an attendant, also, taking care to replenish the paper goods and keep the floors clean. When in doubt, choose a bathroom in a restaurant vs. one in the parks.

My favorite bathroom at WDW? The women's room at Brown Derby in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love the theme and tile work.

Worst? The tiny, dark bathroom near Japan's counter service restaurant. It's hard to find, and honestly, that's a good thing.

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
