Yeehaw, Denise! Welcome back to planDisney - and Welcome Home to a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member. It's great to have you back with us, and I hope our vacation advice has been helpful in the past. I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort in 2025, and it's my pleasure to share some tips on navigating this sprawling section of
Walt Disney World Resort.
Fort Wilderness is such a cool spot, offering a true camping experience just a stone's throw from
Magic Kingdom Park! It's so nice to return to your campsite after a hectic day in the parks and relax under the stars. It's also home to the iconic
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, which is so much fun for Guests of all ages!
Because the resort is so spread out, many Guests choose to
rent an electric golf cart to make it a little easier to get around. It's generally recommended to book a cart in advance—you can do this any time up to one year before your planned check-in date. It looks like you already have your (Donald) ducks in a row and have a cart ready to rock when you visit in March. Great job, Denise!
When I checked the
Member Benefits site (my go-to source for the most up-to-date information about current discounts available for DVC Members), golf cart rentals are not listed. However, Members can take advantage of discounts on certain activities at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, as well as the
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, which is a guided Segway tour around Fort Wilderness that gives you a very unique look at the resort! Please note that the deals and discounts on the Member Benefits site are subject to change, so I recommend checking back closer to your arrival.
Denise, I hope that you have a rootin' tootin' time on your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Thanks so much for coming to see us again at planDisney, and please don't hesitate to reach out again anytime.
Stay Magical!
Susan
