My future son in law is going to propose to my daughter December 31, 2008 and I would like to know if there is anything special at any park that would make it a truly rememberable night for her?

The first thing that comes to mind is a dinner in Cinderella Castle, at Cinderella's Royal Table.  Perhaps your son can make reservations so that he and his princess bride-to-be can enjoy a delicious meal in a Fairytale setting.

I've had the opportunity not only to dine in the castle but also to speak with the chef at Cinderella's Royal Table.  He proudly displayed the glass slipper dessert available to guests who dine in the castle and in select other restaurants on property.  The chef said that many young couples have gotten engaged in his very restaurant.  Often times, a nervous young prince will make arrangements with the kitchen staff ahead of time to have an engagement ring creatively delivered to the table, possibly with the glass slipper dessert.  Perhaps your future son in law could follow suit.  He'll have to act quickly though; reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table are tough to come by.

Please pass along my best wishes once the question has been popped (and accepted!).

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
