    My future brother in law will be proposing while at WDW. Can you give me some pointers on good locations for him to do so? Who can he contact to get character help? Limited $, and no time to make dinner reservations. Any ideas

    Hi, Amber!   Speaking from experience, Disney is a wonderful place to get engaged!   The best part is, the magic is built right in so you don't need a budget to make the moment special.   (Except for the engagement ring - this is NOT included with your admission ticket!)

    My husband proposed to me right in front of Cinderella Castle.   He knew that was my favorite spot in the world and that it would be special.   We can remember our special engagement day everytime we walk into the castle (and now, years later, my kids are now quite bored of hearing my husband say "This is where I proposed to Mommy!" every vacation!)

    Disney Dad Doug proposed to his bride on the Boardwalk.   He was lucky enough that right when he proposed the fireworks from Illuminations went off, quite the celebration!  

    My friend was proposed to on the beach near the Yacht and Beach Club at sunset, a beautiful location.    Another lovely spot is near the Wedding Chapel by the Grand Floridian.   There is a arch with flowers near the water with the Castle in the distance.  Quite a site and quite romantic!   He might also consider checking the schedule for Wishes fireworks at Magic Kingdom and plan to be on the beach at Polynesian at that time.  It is beautiful from this location and a perfect spot for a proposal.

    If you want character involvement, I would suggest just going up to a meet and greet location with a favorite character.   I would guess the characters have been a part of many proposals and will jump right in to enjoy the moment.

    This really won't take any money, just a ring, a little planning, and a bride-to-be to say "YES!"  Good luck to your brother-in-law!
