Do the fur suit characters come up to you un-invited? My daughter has a phobia. Many thanks x

    Hello Jenny,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I have to tell you that it's always a huge pleasure for me to assist another family from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I totally understand your valid concerns about your darling daughter's phobia of meeting some Disney characters as I can fully appreciate how distressing it might be for both her and you.
So I'd like to personally reassure you that all Disney Cast Members and Disney characters are very intuitive and absolutely sensitive to each young person they encounter and will endeavour to take into account those who may not be quite comfortable in meeting a new Disney friend.
Generally speaking Guests wishing to meet their favourite Disney characters will need to seek them out at different locations throughout the Disney Theme Parks, so it is unlikely that a character would be encountered un-invited so to speak.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming magical holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please feel free to pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
