FUP ? for you - you said you don't like Crystal Palace, what would you recommend in it's place? Also since we're eating big meals for supper, do you recommend bfast at the resorts, or a snack for bfast and a early quick service lunch?

In all fairness, Kimberly, I can't speak to the buffet breakfast at Crystal Palace.  I've done dinner there and once was more than enough for me.  That said, I know that a lot of guests absolutely love breakfast at the Crystal Palace and make sure to enjoy that meal at least once per trip.  Given my not so pixie dusted experience at Crystal Palace, though, I would probably dine elsewhere.  The Wave and Kona Cafe are both convenient to Magic Kingdom and offer excellent options for breakfast.  If it's a character meal you're after, Chef Mickey's is a popular choice.  'Ohana also offers a character meal featuring Lilo, Stitch and Mickey.

As for part two of your question, here's how my family does it: we eat a quick and healthy breakfast in our room each morning.  For us, that means homemade granola in a bowl with milk.  We also have applesauce and dried fruit.  We then do an early lunch (right around 11:30).  Come dinner time--which also is early for us--we're ready for a full meal.  All that walking works up an appetite!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
