Which would be more fun for three boys, 10,8,and 4......Cosmic Rays or the new Be Our Guest in FantasyLand...for a counter service meal. And which is a better value in terms of getting more for your meal plan?

    Hi Meg,

That's a really hard question to answer since Be Our Guest hasn't opened yet.  Cosmic Rays is basically a quick service restaurant that serves burgers and other sandwiches.  There is a toppings bar, so you can customize your order to your liking.  There is a similar restaurant in Frontierland called Pecos Bill's, and I actually like that better.  At either restaurant, the portions are substantial.

Since Be Our Guest hasn't opened yet, I don't really know what the value will be.  I do think it will be nicer, as far as feeling like you're in an actual restaurant.  You will eat on actual plates with linens, and the menu options for children will include items like pulled pork, meatloaf, mahi mahi, and whole-grain macaroni with marinara sauce.  It will also include a beverage and dessert.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
