Hello Barb,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you'll be strolling around Disney's BoardWalk very soon for a magical vacation!
As a guest at
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel you'll be within walking distance to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. These two parks are filled with fun dining experiences, from character meals at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT to immersive experiences like
50's Prime Time Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios. World Showcase in EPCOT is filled with fun dining options.
Teppen Edo in Japan and
Biergarten Restaurant in Germany are two of my favorites. Plus, there is the all new
Space 220 Restaurant in Discovery World that is truly an out of this world dining experience. Over in Hollywood Studios my family loves
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. For all of these restaurants you'll need a
theme park ticket and
park reservation in addition to your dining reservation.
If you aren't planning on going into the parks I'm not sure I can say that there are many restaurants nearby that would qualify as fun, with entertainment or unique dining experiences. However, you do have a lot of delicious options nearby. Right in your hotel you have fantastic Italian food at
Il Mulino, seafood at
Todd English's bluezoo, sushi at
Kimonos, and so much more. If you're looking for something more casual head to Disney's Beach Club for a meal (but mostly dessert) at
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Ordering the Kitchen Sink, or watching other guests tackle this colossal sundae is always a fun experience.
Just a short
Disney Skyliner ride away, you'll find
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera over at Disney's Riviera Resort. In the mornings guests are treated to a delicious character breakfast with Mickey and his pals. In the evening, the restaurant serves amazing Mediterranean inspired dishes, and the view from the restaurant is spectacular!
Hope this helps. Have a magical and delicious vacation!
Diane
