    What is a fun dining place for my soon to be 8 year old grandson. I'm just finding out no more free birthday admission.

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    Unfortunately, the free admission on your birthday was a promotion from a couple of years ago.  Disney has only offered that promotion once.  Sorry!

    I think the following places are a great place for a birthday celebration dinner, based on what my 7 year old son likes:
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • Ohana in the Polynesian
    • San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot
    • Lunch at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Mickey's Backyard BBQ (but only if you like country music) at Fort Wilderness
    • Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness

    Whatever you decide, be sure to make an Advanced Dining Reservation for it!  ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance!
