Will the Full Electrical Water Pageant show come back? I was recently at WDW, and one of my favorite things to do is watch the EWP. The show was about 1/2 of what is usually is. Will it be back? Thankyou

    Hiya Lori,

Welcome back to planDisney! One of my favorite parts of staying at the Contemporary Resort was checking out the Electrical Water Pageant. My daughter would get out of bed and run across the room to the window whenever she heard the music. I’m glad it is one of your favorites as well.

Currently, Lori, the Electrical Water Pageant runs for 15 minutes from start to finish across Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. Weather (and your location) can impact the duration of the experience, but generally, that is what you can expect as of today. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they didn't know if there were any plans to extend the experience beyond 15 minutes, but that doesn’t mean it won't happen. As Walt Disney World continues to improve and grow, things are always being refined.

I wish I had a clearer answer for you, Lori, but I hope this was helpful. With all the new changes coming (I mean, are you as excited about Monsters, Inc. Land as I am?), my heart is always warmed up when our beloved favorites return as well (I am looking forward to Cinderella Castle’s return to the classic colors). While not all of them look exactly as we remember them (like the nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, Disney Starlight), I always love that they carry an ode to those we love so much, which is the secret to the magic. I hope that you have a magical day, and please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
