Is Fugetek 51" Professional Tripod allowed at Disneyland?it can extend 51inch and it has adjustable legs and head. Please advise

Hi there, Sahar! Thanks for taking the time to send in your question to planDisney!

Did you know Disneyland Resort is one of the most photographed locations in the world? It's also the most Instagrammed location, with over 14.6 million hashtags. If you didn't post pictures of your Mickey-shaped food or Sleeping Beauty Castle, then did your trip even happen?!

I have good news for you, Sahar! According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, tripods that do not extend over 6 feet are allowed; just ensure that it can fit inside a standard-sized backpack. However, the theme parks do not allow selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices. Alumni panelist, Andres, often brings his into the parks and sets it up to get some incredible nighttime photos of the fireworks framing the castle. Follow planDisney on Instagram (@plandisneypanel) to see some of his work!

Another picture-perfect way to remember your trip is to utilize the Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed around the parks. You can find their locations on the Disneyland Mobile app. Tap the location icon on the bottom of your screen to pull up the park map. Then use the pull-down menu to select "PhotoPass." Unlimited downloads are included with your purchase of Disney Genie+; the new augmented reality (AR) world of Disney PhotoPass Lenses are also included!

    Have a magical time, Sahar!

It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
