At the FTW cabins, what tableware is included (bowls, plates, silverware, cups)? I wanted to know if I should plan on purchasing disposable tableware.

    Valerie:

The cabins of Fort Wilderness come with everything you need for a place setting for six people: dinner and salad forks, spoons, regular knives and steak knives along with dinner and salad plates, mugs and cereal bowls. Unless you are planning on hosting another family at the cabin, there shouldn't be a need to buy anything additional. With that said, however, when my parents stayed in a cabin last fall, we found ourselves heading to the Meadows Trading Post for salt & pepper and sugar.

With the cabin amenities on Disney's website a bit sparse, I'd recommend you checking out the Fact Sheet on the cabins that is on allears.net. It's much more comprehensive and may help jog your memory of other items you may want to bring.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
