Will the frozen ever after dessert party be offered in may 2018? Can the dining plan be used?

Hello Meredith and thanks for bringing such a sweet question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I can't think of a more delicious way to end your Disney day at Epcot than with a special treat and firework filled Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase.  At present I'm happy to share that party dates are currently scheduled right through until the end of February 2018, therefore my best advice for you is to keep checking back for those all important May dates you require. Another top spot for all Disney related news and announcements is of course the Disney Parks Blog where you can learn more about the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party.
My family are huge fans of the Disney Dining Plans, we love the freedom it allows us to choose to dine from over 100+ dining locations right across Disney property, however at present the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase is not included within entitlements of the 2018 Disney Dining Plan and requires advanced payment when reserved via My Disney Experience
    Warm hugs.
