Are the Friendship boats running between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT? (They were closed when we were there in June.) Thank you

    Hi Dollene!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are getting ready for another trip to visit Walt Disney World Resort soon so you can visit Toy Story Land! It opened June 30 this year and it is such a beautiful addition to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love all of the details in Andy's backyard, like the giant Fisher Price camper and the popsicle stick benches throughout the area. And be sure to say "hi" to the Green Army Men while you are there. My favorite is the Green Army Lady that you can sometimes find on patrol!

One of the things I love about Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's BoardWalk is how convenient it is to get between each of these areas! It's so nice to be able to take a quick ride on the Friendship Boats between each of these theme parks and to walk along Disney's BoardWalk to enjoy the area's shopping, dining and entertainment. While schedules and availability are always subject to change, boat transportation has resumed between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. In fact, I sailed with my fellow Disney's Parks Moms Panelists on the Friendship Boats from Disney's Hollywood Studios in July. So they should be available during your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning your next vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
