Guardians of the Galaxy at Night; EPCOT

    Hi, do the Friendship Boats that run in the boardwalk area still transport passengers during Epcot’s Deluxe Extended Evening Hours or do guest have to walk back to their resorts?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a great question!  Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are a great benefit available exclusively for Guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels.  It's a great time to experience the parks and some of your favorite attractions with fewer crowds and lower wait times!

    Tyler, Guests staying in the Disney Resorts Collection can enjoy complimentary transportation between the theme parks and Disney Springs from their resort hotel.  This transportation usually starts about 45 minutes before each park opens and runs about an hour after the park closes, but specific times may vary based on the mode of transportation.  After chatting with a Cast Member, I'm happy to confirm for you that you'll find the FriendShip Boats, which connect the resorts around the Disney BoardWalk area to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, are typically scheduled to run during Extended Evening Hours.  It is important to remember that water transportation is subject to availability due to water and weather conditions.  You can always confirm the latest transportation schedule with a Cast Member that day.   

    Don't forget that you also have an extra opportunity to join the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on nights that EPCOT offers Extended Evening Hours.  You can join the queue at 6:00 PM from your My Disney Experience Mobile App - even if you're not in EPCOT at that time.
