Hello friends! We are visiting soon and would like to keep the luggage to a minimum as we will be staying at different DRC hotels during our visit. Do hotels have weighted blankets for individuals with special needs (or anyone that may benefit)?

    Welcome to planDisney, Karen!

Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most accommodating vacation locations ever! I always love traveling with my family members with special needs because it is just as magical for them as it is for me! Be sure to visit the Services for Guests with Disabilities page to familiarize yourself with the accommodations readily available for you and your party.

While the hotels within the Disney Resorts Collection do not currently have weighted blankets available for Guests, I do have some experience traveling with a family member that required a weighted blanket, and I have a good tip for you! With just a quick search on Amazon, you should be able to find a wide variety of travel weighted blankets that are amazing! They are really convenient, and we were able to fit a travel weighted blanket in our backpack for our fight. They have some great options for on-the-go weighted blankets, and I’m sure you’ll be able to find something that fits your budget and will fit within your luggage.

If you have additional questions before your trip, Karen, we would really like to hear from you again at planDisney
