My friends and I would like to visit downtown disney for Halloween. I was wondering 1. Will there be any special items, food, events, etc. and are we allowed to dress up within obvious reason?

    Hi there Abigail,

In past years, Downtown Disney has offered free trick or treating around the Marketplace, but unfortunately, this event has been discontinued and no word of a similar event has been mentioned for this year!   That said, you will notice that the Disney shops will be filled to the brim with special Fall and Halloween merchandise.  The windows will be decorated to represent the "spooktacular" holiday, and the bakeries and confectionaries will even be offering some special tasty treats which are only available this time of year!

There is really no "dress code" per se at Downtown Disney, but the theme parks actually have a policy that prohibits adults from wearing costumes -unless- they are attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom, where pretty much anything goes, within reason, regardless of age!

    Best Wishes,
