Bonjour Christine, wishing you a warm Canadian welcome to planDisney!
Heading to
Disney destinations to spend time at the theme parks over the holidays is not only a great way to end the year, but there's also something extra-special about celebrating under the Florida sun while everyone looks at your photos from a significantly colder Quebec or back in the wintery United Kingdom. When it comes to purchasing tickets or booking experiences here at Walt Disney World Resort, it can often be trickier for folks visiting internationally who might not have the same access that we do in the United States and Canada so being
linked under your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience can definitely come in handy!
I was recently able to successfully
reassign tickets to my friends visiting from the UK this summer, and a
Guest Relations Cast Member confirmed that this was currently possible for guests
purchasing special event tickets. While tickets to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are non-transferable and non-refundable, my
planDisney pal Lauren was also able to do this with a special event ticket and provided her helpful tips and experience with this process. (Offerings and policies may be subject to change without prior notice, so if you encounter any difficulty with this I suggest
reaching out to the Cast Members tasked with Ticketing for assistance, though I also recommend trying to do this via Chat first in order to avoid any long-distance charges incurred by calling over the phone.)
Be sure to check out our
Beginner's Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, as well as other updates on the Disney Parks Blog including
what you can expect for this upcoming holiday season! In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you back at planDisney again, where we're always happy to help fellow Canadians making their way down throughout the year.
Here's to spending Christmastime with friends from afar at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
