My friends and I are staying at a WDW Resort for our vacation. We are all 21+ and are wondering if all Magic Bands have to be linked to my credit card since I made the reservation, or can we get their personal cards linked to their individual bands?

Hello Nakitah! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am excited for your friends only trip to Walt Disney World! I take at least one trip every year with my friends here on the panel and we have the best time! I think that you'll be happy to know that you can absolutely set up individual credit cards for charging on each MagicBand once you've arrived at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Simply head to the front desk and the Cast Member will be able to set it all up for you. Everyone will need their MagicBand, credit card and you'll be asked to come up with a unique 4 digit pin code for each band. Once that's all taken care of, you are free to scan away. If you are worried that you are getting a little carried away, you can always check your charges on the My Disney Experience app. Under "My Plans" select your resort reservation. Then select "View Charges" and you should see an itemized list of what you've purchased. It's a convenient way to stay in check.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
