We have friends staying at the Saratoga and we are staying at the French Quarter. How long of a walk or commute is it for us to meet up?

    Hi there, Janice!

The trip between Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter (both considered Epcot-area Resorts) can run approximately half an hour to forty minutes if you are relying on Disney transportation.

There are a couple of options:

Both properties are on the Sassagoula River, which has a fleet of fifteen boats maintaining four distinct routes. You'll need the Yellow Flag from Port Orleans French Quarter to Downtown Disney, and then you'll change to the Blue Flag line from Downtown Disney to Saratoga Springs.

You can hop on a bus to any Park, get off at that bus's destination, and switch to the Saratoga Springs bus, or boat. Be mindful of Park closure times; transportation runs for about an hour after each Park closes.

Additionally, you can take a taxi directly to and from Saratoga Springs; cabs are readily available at Resorts, and your Resort concierge will be able to assist you with those as well.

    Have a great stay!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
