Our friends are staying at Fort Wilderness Campground for 30 days. We will be staying with them for a week. Can we use their reservation # for booking fastpasses and dining and can we attend EMH with them?

    Hi Pam,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon! I have to admit that I'm a little jealous your friends are planning to stay for 30 days at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. 30 days enjoying all the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer sounds like a dream come true!

Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Campground can make their FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of their arrival date. Likewise, if you are making Advanced Dining Reservations and have a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Campground, you can make reservations 180 days in advance of your check-in date for the length of your stay or up to ten days. If you do not have a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Campground reservation you can make your Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance but you will have to make them day by day. Since your April visit is now less than 30 days away, you can make your FastPass+ selections and Advanced Dining Reservations at any time.

Since you will be staying with your friends for a week, you should be added to their reservation for that week. Fortunately, a campsite accommodates up to ten guests. Your friends can call to see if you can be added to the reservation for that week. One possibility is they may want to cancel your friend's reservation and re-book it to accommodate the week you will be joining them. Since your vacation is within 30 days and you don't need longer booking windows, it will probably be simpler for your friends to add you to their reservation when you arrive. They can do this by visiting the Reception Outpost. If you are planning to use Disney's Magical Express transportation from Orlando International Airport you will need to be added to the reservation before you arrive. Once you are listed as guests on the reservation you will be able to participate in Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks.

Pam, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
