    Hi, moms! Some friends and I will run the half marathon 2015 at WDW and we are very excited about it! But we have some doubts about the event... Will be necessary a ticket (passport) to enjoy the park (epcot) after the finish line?

    Hi, Susana! 

    I hope you are looking forward to the 2015 Walt Disney World® Half Marathon! I also think it's awesome you have plans to participate in this event with your friends. I'm sure they are a true cast of characters and you will all have a magical time. 

    Though you have the opportunity to run through areas of Future World in Epcot theme park as part of the course for the half marathon, if you wish to renter after you have completed your race, it will require a theme park ticket and will open to guests at 9:00am.

    In order to enter Epcot after your race, proceed through the runners chute at the finish line to obtain your medal, then retrieve your gEAR Bag (if you checked a bag in that morning) and exit the Family Reunion Area and walk to Epcot's main entrance, present your theme park ticket, or MagicBand if you are staying on property and enjoy the rest of your day!
