Hi Michael,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am happy to see that you are familiar with the
Disability Access Service (DAS), one of the many
Services for Guests with Disabilities at the Walt Disney World® Resort. It sounds like you need to make sure your ticket is correctly linked in your account and that you are connected to your friend's profile in
My Disney Experience.
First, let's make sure your ticket is correctly linked. If you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, open the app, click on the three bars in the bottom righthand side of the screen, and then click on My Tickets & Passes. If your ticket does not appear there, click on the plus sign to Link Tickets & Passes.
Next, check to make sure you are connected to your friend's profile. In the mobile app, click on the three bars again in the righthand corner. Then click on Profile. From there, you should see a tab for Family & Friends List. If your friend's name does not appear in your Family & Friends list, scroll down and select the option to Add a Guest. Once your friend is added, make sure they have their ticket linked to their My Disney Experience account.
Once your friend is connected in My Disney Experience and all tickets are linked, I suggest that you try the DAS pre-arrival video chat process again. If tickets are still not linked properly or your friend's profile is still not connected to your account in My Disney Experience, the cast member may have you
contact Website Support. I just completed the DAS pre-arrival registration process. There were some technical issues with duplicate profiles in My Disney Experience account. I was able to speak with a cast member in Website Support to get those duplicate profiles removed and then was able to get pre-registered for DAS.
Michael, I hope this helps! One word of caution - navigation in the mobile app is subject to change but I love the general ease of navigation in the app, so I trust you will be able to get your friend connected and tickets linked. As you finalize those plans and finish packing, be sure to have a few
advanced dining reservations and stop by the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival to visit some of the fantastic outdoor kitchens!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
