Hiya, Matthew!
Welcome to planDisney! A magical day at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT with your crew? That already sounds like the perfect recipe for fun! And I'm so glad you're thinking ahead about your friend's allergy. Walt Disney World Resort is truly one of the most accommodating places I’ve ever visited when it comes to dining with special dietary needs.
While there isn’t a specific list of quick-service locations completely free of onion-based ingredients, the good news is that most dining locations across the parks are well-prepared to support Guests with food allergies, including ones as specific as avoiding all forms of onion. Here’s how you can stir up the most success:
First, use the My Disney Experience app to browse quick-service menus in advance. Many include Allergy-Friendly Menus that highlight options free of the top eight allergens. While “onion” isn’t one of the common allergens flagged by default, you can still speak with a Cast Member at the dining location and request to talk with a chef or specially trained Cast Member. They’ll be happy to go over ingredients and help customize a safe option.
At Magic Kingdom, you might want to check out:
Over at EPCOT, consider:
For every location, I always recommend noting your friend's onion allergy when you place a Mobile Order in the app or speaking with a Cast Member upon arrival at the counter.
Pro-tip: You can also contact Special Diets ahead of your visit by emailing the team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Include your travel dates, the dining locations you're considering, and the onion allergy, especially since it’s not one of the top listed allergens, and the team can provide guidance to help you feel even more prepared.
I hope your visit is full of flavor, friendship, and fantastic memories, with not an onion in sight!
Sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Emille ºoº
