My friends and I are planning a grownups-only trip to WDW in November. Advice to make it an extra magical ladies' adventure?

    Hi, Siobhan!

Several of the Moms here on the panel and I have an annual girls trip planned to Disney each year, and we have so much fun! We so look forward to it.

Here are some activities that we plan:

-Shopping! We love having a few hours at Disney Springs to browse all the shops. With everything from Disney Dooney & Bourke purses, to Vera Bradley totes, to fun Disney souvenirs, you can find it all. Allow plenty of time for shopping. (This rule applies to everyday life, not just when you are at Disney!)
-Eating! There are so many amazing choices. A new favorite for my group is The Boathouse in Disney Springs. We love getting a table on the patio overlooking the water. Simply perfect!
-Spa Time! Many of the Deluxe Resorts have wonderful spas to enjoy. Remember, no kids this trip so take some time to pamper yourselves.
-Parks! Without kids, YOU actually get to choose which attractions to enjoy. This does not happen often so take advantage of it.
-Go International!  Plan a good part of a day for World Showcase at Epcot. Shop, get a glass of wine, try a new dessert. You can do it all in World Showcase.
-Pools!  Relax by the pool without having to run for the kids' pool toys all day long. You will be surprised by how relaxing a day at the pool under a palm tree can be.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for your Girls' Weekend. Whatever activities you choose, take lots of pictures and cherish these wonderful memories. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
