Friends of ours are travelling with us but staying at a nearby off-site resort. Would they be able to visit us at POR for a few hours during the day and swim with a guest pass or something similar?

    Hi Caralin ~

Your trip is only days away and I bet you are too excited to sleep already!

We have family in Orlando and they often visit us during our trips to Disney World. Typically, they will just need to show a picture ID at the gate and let them know that they are just coming over to visit you. They may ask for your name at the gate so make sure you tell your friends how your reservation is listed. You may want to stop by the Concierge at Port Orleans to see if they will need a parking pass during their visit.

They are very strict about entering the area for Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts. Each person is required to present proof that they are staying at those resorts to enter the main pool area.  However, our family has been able to join us at the other resorts to spend a day at the pool with us. As long as one of us was with them, we haven't had any issues.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
