Friends of mine are going to Grand Floridian villas. They were told that people have to bring their own linens for the Murphy bed. I told them that I believe they are wrong. I think DVC supplies all linens needed for the accommodations rented. Am I right?

    Hi Dennis,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your friends are in for a magical treat when they stay at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! I stayed at the Resort last December, and besides the incredible location, the most striking thing was the fantastic sleep I had. I’m convinced the beds and linens are sprinkled with Pixie Dust!

So, Dennis, I think you need to join us at the Moms Panel because you are correct! Walt Disney World Resort prides itself on providing an excellent experience for all of its Guests, and they make sure to give all of the necessary bed linen for each room’s capacity. Both the Deluxe Villas and the 1-Bedroom Villas sleep up to five and include a single pull-down bed. Your friends should find the linens in the cabinet next to the Murphy bed or the entryway closet. If they still need convincing, show them the Virtual Tour of the 1-Bedroom Villa, it shows the Murphy bed out and made up with the fantastic linens!

Because of its great location, Guests at the Resort have a bounty of magical “extras” to indulge in! It is one monorail stop away from all of the fun at Magic Kingdom Park, and a quick walk away from one of the most unique places to indulge in a cocktail at ‘The World. They “grotto” check out Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The Shrunken Zombie Head is magically delicious, and combined with the signature báhn mì sliders is a match that is as divine as Mickey & Minnie Mouse!

Dennis, if your friends have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to drop back on by!
