    If my friends magic bands that came with her resort stay came after she left on her trip, can I use them for my trip or have they already been linked to her MDE acct and therefore are non transferrable? Thanks

    Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about MagicBands. 

    Kristen, if your friend had her MagicBands customized and shipped as part of her Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, they have already been linked to her My Disney Experience account and are non-transferrable. 

    However, if she purchased non-customized MagicBands via shopDisney for her vacation and never linked them to her My Disney Experience account, you can link them to yours and use them for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Checking if they have been linked is simple, Kristen. Please use this page to try to link the MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account. If they have already been linked, you will receive an error message.

    As you get ready for your vacation, don’t forget to make your Disney Park Pass theme park reservations. All you need is a valid Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket linked to your account.
