Heya, Kimberly! Welcome back to planDisney! It’s so great to hear from you again, and it’s even more wonderful to hear that you're already dreaming of your next Disneyland Resort adventure! I completely get it—even as a local, I often find myself just a little too far away to stay for the
nighttime spectaculars, so when I do get to experience them, it feels like an extra special sprinkle of pixie dust. There's just a completely different, almost electric, vibe in the parks at night, isn't there? I adore it!
You've asked a question that's been on many Guests' minds, including mine: how long will the
Paint the Night parade be lighting up Main Street, U.S.A.? I took a peek at the latest
Disney Parks Blog updates, and I have some super exciting news to share! Paint the Night is confirmed to be dazzling guests at least through
Halloween Time, which runs from August 22 to October 31, 2025. So you'll definitely have a chance to catch those illuminated floats during the spooky season!
Now, while we don't have all the jolly details revealed just yet for the
holiday season (which is scheduled to return November 14, 2025 to January 7, 2026), I'm personally optimistic that Paint the Night will continue to run during that season as well. That's because it's a shining star of the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, and we know that magical milestone is officially scheduled to run at least through the summer of 2026! Just keep in mind, Kimberly, that we'll need to wait for an official announcement from Disney for the definitive holiday entertainment schedule. But, based on the 70th Celebration's duration, it's certainly a strong possibility it will return after the holidays, even if it takes a brief break.
Have you had a chance to explore the rest of the festivities for the 70th Celebration, Kimberly? There are so many new and returning delights to experience and enjoy! For instance, you absolutely won't want to miss
Wondrous Journeys, one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, be sure to catch the all-new
World of Color Happiness!, a vibrant show that will certainly leave a smile on your face (and perhaps a song in your head!). And, back over at Disneyland Park, check out the
Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the façade of
"it's a small world" that celebrates seven decades of magic. Pro tip: This is one of my favorite spots to watch Paint the Night—you can see both shows from the same spot!
It sounds like your next visit is going to be filled with so many memorable moments, day and night, Kimberly! Be sure to keep an eye on the official Disneyland Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches for any new announcements regarding parade times and special events. Wishing you the most magical and illuminated adventure as you plan your return to the Happiest Place on Earth!
