    friends are giving us parkhopper passes as a gift and our stay at a resort will be via a family/friends discount, can we participate in the dining plan.

    Paul:

    Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan can only be added to Disney's Magic Your Way Vacation Packages that include room and tickets that are purchased together. The only exceptions are for Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders.
