We have friends that are gifting us Oogie Boogie bash tickets, just confirming we just need a screen shot of those tickets( even with wrong name)? Do we need separate park tickets? Do we need to make a reservation? Thank you, Annette

Ghoulish greetings and welcome to planDisney, Annette. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.

How wonderful that your friends gifted you with tickets to the sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. Instead of using a screenshot of the tickets, I recommend linking them to your MyDisney account in the Disneyland app for safekeeping and ease of use. To do this, open the Disneyland app and tap the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile followed by tapping the "+" in the upper right corner. Tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and use the "Camera" feature to scan the ticket barcodes. That's all there is to it. On the night of the event, you'll find your tickets to bash here. No need to worry about the names on the tickets as a Cast Member will take your picture upon entry which will connect your identity to the ticket throughout its use.

You do not need to make a separate theme park reservation as one is included with your party ticket. You also do not need a separate theme park ticket unless you would like to visit Disney California Adventure Park before the early mix-in time (3:00 p.m.), or if you would like to visit Disneyland Park.

You are in for quite a spooktacular time. I attended the bash last week and had a blast. I loved interacting with all of the villains on the treat trails. I recommend bringing your own larger bag if you plan on visiting all of the treat trails (and maybe a few trails more than once). You will receive a bag at check-in, however, I find it's not quite big enough for all of the treat collecting that I do. I also loved watching the Frightfully Fun Parade. It was so fun to see all of the characters and a great opportunity to take a rest during the evening.

Annette, I hope this has been helpful as you are preparing for your visit. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's wishing you a spellbinding evening at the Happiest Place on Earth!
