Hiya Patti,
Thank you for making planDisney part of your Walt Disney World Resort planning team. You've asked some thoughtful questions these past few months and the magical finish line is in sight. The
Festival of Fantasy Parade is
officially scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. during your stay. While you wait for the parade to pass, keep an eye out for Disney PhotoPass photographers. These Cast Members stand out because they're wearing green and often have a prop for you to hold as they capture your pre-parade excitement.
Memory Maker is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort souvenir because it includes unlimited downloads of all
Disney PhotoPass photos and videos taken within 30 days of activation. The person to whom a Memory Maker entitlement is linked in
My Disney Experience can view and download the media of up to 25
Family & Friends, even if the entitlement owner is not in the picture. For example, one of my friends ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon this past weekend. I see her race images with a watermark in my
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Photos), even though I was not in them. If I had an active Memory Maker entitlement, I could download those images.
To make sure you're able to view and download everyone's Disney PhotoPass images, Patti, click "Update" next to each desired member of your
Family & Friends List and make sure the "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" box is checked. This setting can only be checked and changed online, not in the My Disney Experience app.
When viewing Disney PhotoPass images online, click "View Media" and make sure the "Include Friends and Family" tab is selected. In the My Disney Experience app, click "Filter" and make sure "View All" is selected under the Family & Friends heading. To reiterate, only the person to whom the Memory Maker entitlement is linked will be able to view and download unwatermarked photos. I recommend setting up a shared photo album before your trip where images can be uploaded and shared with your entire party.
Disney PhotoPass images expire 45 days after they are taken. That date will be displayed directly under each image. I highly encourage you to put a reminder in your calendar so you don't forget.
I hope this information helps you have a picture-perfect vacation, Patti. Should any other questions arise before, during, or after your visit,
you know where to find me!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
