How do I see my friends and family list

Hello there, Terry! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question—I’m delighted to help! Let's get you ready for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

That's a question that shows you're thinking like a pro planner! It sounds like you might be familiar with the My Disney Experience app for the Walt Disney World Resort, which has a "Family & Friends List" feature. It's a common question, so I'm glad you asked! The Disneyland Resort has its own separate mobile app, and while it doesn't have the exact same feature, it has a wonderful way to keep your party's plans connected.

At Disneyland, you can link your group's theme park tickets together right in the app! Think of it like your own personal group of Mouseketeers. Once your tickets are linked, you can easily work together to make plans throughout the day. This is especially handy for booking return times for attractions using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass feature or for joining a virtual queue for a spectacular show like World of Color Happiness! To link your tickets, simply open the app, tap the menu button (☰) in the bottom right corner, and select “My Tickets & Passes”. If you purchased all of your group’s tickets in your Disney account, they might already be linked and appear on this screen. If not, just tap the blue plus (+) sign in the top right, followed by “Link Tickets & Passes”. From here, you can either scan the other tickets’ barcodes on the Camera tab, or enter their unique ID numbers on the Type ID tab.

Since you're getting acquainted with the Disneyland app, I'd love to share a few other magical things you can do with it—it’s like having your own personal Genie in the palm of your hand! My favorite time-saving feature is Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, which allows you to order food and drinks from many dining locations right from your phone. Another handy feature that works similarly is Merchandise Mobile Checkout at select shops and stores, which lets you scan and pay for your souvenirs right in the app to skip the line at the register.

While you're enjoying your snacks and shopping, you can use the park map feature to check up-to-the-minute attraction wait times and even find where your favorite characters might be appearing. The app is also where you'll find the daily events schedule with showtimes for parades and spectaculars. To access it, just tap the menu button, followed by “Park Hours & Info". The “Today” tab at the top will have all of the day’s details. And after all that fun, any photos taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer will also magically appear in the app. Here's an extra pro tip: if you plan on purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your visit, it'll include unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos from that day!

Terry, you came to us with one great question, and now you're equipped with so much insider knowledge! From linking your tickets to ordering snacks like a pro, you're all set to use the app to its fullest. I hope this helps you spend less time planning and more time making magical memories with your group!

    Have a magical day!
