I have friends that are DVC owners. Can I pre-purchase the Memory Maker Photo for them and give it as a gift for their next trip (that isn't booked yet)?

    Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  How thoughtful of you to want to give Memory Maker as a gift to your friends!  Memory Maker is such a wonderful way to capture Disney vacation memories.

I spoke with a cast member at Disney Vacation Club member services today.  The cast member there had a great idea, which was that you give your friends a Disney gift card in the amount that it would cost to buy Memory Maker, which is currently $169 when purchased in advance.  You can let your friends know that you intend for this gift card to be used to purchase Memory Maker, which they can then do by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services.

There is another possibility if your friends are on your Family & Friends list on My Disney Experience.  In this case, you could purchase Memory Maker and then have the Memory Maker reassigned to your friends.  Remember, this will only work if they are on your Family & Friends list.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Brian.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
