If our friends drop me and my boyfriend off at all star music with their car that we won’t have on resort property, will they still try to charge us for overnight parking or do we just tell them we’re being dropped off? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I always love hearing from Guests that are in the great state of Tennessee like I am! You must be so excited to begin your stay at Disney's All-Star Music Resort in just FOUR days! The musical theme at this Disney Resort hotel even includes the pools, with both the Piano Pool and the Calypso Pool shaped like musical instruments. I hope you have allowed some time in your schedule to check them out!

I have good news, Rebecca! I have been dropped off at my Disney Resort hotel by both friends and ride-sharing services and in both cases we were not charged a parking fee. You will have to let the Cast Member know when you enter the parking lot that you are just being dropped off. In some instances, the security guard has just let us in to be dropped off without needing additional information, but at other times our hotel reservation has been verified by name or MagicBand scan. Just be prepared to provide the information for your stay if needed (having your MagicBand handy is the easiest way to verify).

Hopefully this helps with your planning, Rebecca! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
