My friend,a disabled veteran, gave my family military Disneyland tickets. I just saw that he is supposed to come with us to check us in, but he isn't able to sit in a car that long. Is there any other way for us to get in the park without him present?

Hello, Natalie! I hope you are having a wonderful week!

You are correct that the veteran or eligible active service member must be present with valid military ID in order to use military promotional tickets. Keep in mind that they only need to be present the first time the tickets are activated at the Disneyland Resort and not for the duration of the trip. The only other option is to have the veteran's spouse accompany you to the parks with valid military ID for spouses/dependents.

If neither of those scenarios is an option, you might be eligible to purchase a specialty discounted ticket if you live in southern California. Otherwise, single- or multi-day tickets are available online or at the ticket booths at the Disneyland Resort.

Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any future questions!
