My friend has a work emergency and we need to change the date of our park reservation to one day later or earlier. Who can we speak too?

Welcome to planDisney, Lauren. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

I’m sorry that your friend has a work emergency. But no worries, Lauren! Switching park reservation dates is a fairly simple process! You do not need to wait to speak with a Cast Member on the phone to switch dates; you can do so on Disneyland.com or Disneyland mobile app, provided that: 1) the dates are in the same tier for your one-day ticket (or the new date is in a lower tier), and 2) there are park reservations still available. Before you change your reservation, be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which park is available on the day you wish to visit.

In order to switch your visit days, you’ll actually need to cancel your current park reservation. Then, return to the “Theme Park Tickets & Reservations” page and under “If you’ve already purchased a ticket:”, click on “Make Park Reservations”. Pick the new date and park you wish to visit and confirm your selections. Once your new reservation is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have more trip-planning questions.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
