    I have a friend who's life long dream is to be the family that opens up MK, she has been numerous times, worn special "pick us" tee shirts, but sitll hasn't been chosen, what's the best way for her family to get the magical experience of being ch

    Oh, Richard, I wish I could give you a surefire answer to your question.  I'd be delighted to hear that your friend's lifelong dream of being picked as the family featured in the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom had finally come true!

    Unfortunately, there's nothing I can suggest that will guarantee their selection.  However, I would recommend that your friend arrive plenty early (more than 30 minutes before the stated opening of the park).  She should wear a big smile and engage the Cast Members in conversation.  It wouldn't hurt to ask the Cast Members who greet her at the ticket turnstiles if there's a better place to stand to be noticed by the Cast Member who chooses the opening ceremony family.  

    I'll keep my fingers crossed that someday her dream will come true.  Sending best wishes and pixie dust to her!
