    I have a friend who is going to be at WDW during Passover. She was wondering if any of the hotels have seders? any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Stefanie! Passover this year is from sunset of April 18 through April 25. If your friend is looking for a Passover Communal Seder she has some options outside of the parks. Have her do a Google search for a list of all the synagogues and temples in the Orlando area near the Walt Disney World Resort. The results will yield several listings. Most will include whether they are Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox. In addition they will list how close they are to the Walt Disney World Resort. Your friend may have to drive a bit to get to a Seder. Chabad of South Orlando is the closest to the Walt Disney World Resort. For details have her contact them at (407) 354-3660. The Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando located in the Maitland/Winter Park area is another possible option. For more information have her call them at (407) 645-5933.

     

    In addition, it will be possible for your friend to keep Kosher during her visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Simply have her contact (407) WDW-DINE to request a Kosher diet at any table service restaurant. She needs to make the request at least two business days in advance. In order to make informed decisions at counter service locations, have her talk to the manager. Kosher meals are available in the following counter service locations with no advance noticed needed: World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies. Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music. Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Riverside. End Zone Food Court at All-Star Sports. Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom. Old Port Royale Food Court at Caribbean Beach. ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios. Everything Pop Shopping and Dining at Pop Century. Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at Magic Kingdom. Liberty Inn and Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Artist's Palette at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Gasparilla's Grill & Games at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
