Hi Moms, My friend wants to celebrate her dad's birthday while on their vacation at the world. Where can they find the BEST steak dinner for him? Thanks. Tara, Ky.

    Hello Tara,

It is very hard to recommend one certain restaurant at Walt Disney World, there are so many wonderful choices, so I will go ahead and just give you a few of mine.  First, I would suggest the "Coral Reef Restaurant" located in Epcot at The Living Seas Pavilion. I have included this one in many of my answers to other guests, since this one has an absolutely amazing atmosphere (in my opinion) as well as many other 5 star menu choices.  I have had the NY strip steak here a few times and found it always very tender while full of flavor, and the desserts (OH BOY!!!!!).

My second choice would be the "Kona Cafe" located in the Polynesian Resort (complete Hawaiian experience).  I had the Filet Mignon here, and oh my gawrsh! talk about "melt in your mouth" I am not kidding, some of the best I have ever had!!! (wonderful coffee here as well!).

Lastly, I have to suggest the Buffalo Steak in "Artist Point" located at the Wilderness Lodge Resort (complete rustic outdoor experience, but "inside").  I had this particular steak on my most recent trip in December, and the server suggested getting it done Medium Rare or Medium.  I chose the Medium and she was absolutely right, (you would think "gamy" right? "au contraire mon ami") not at all gamy, a little sweet and very tender (along with a Pina Colada, even better!).

I hope this helps you and I 'm sure whichever choice your friend makes her dad will enjoy his birthday surprise!

    Best wishes,
