My friend and I are wanting to go to Disneyland in December after Christmas (Dec 27-Jan 2). I see that the days past December 21 are all greyed out. Are they at full capacity for reservations?

Hello, Minh, and welcome to planDisney! I can’t think of a more magical way to wrap up 2025 and ring in the new year than by spending a week at the Disneyland Resort! With festive decorations, joyful entertainment, and a little extra pixie dust in the air, you’re in for an unforgettable time. Let's make sure you have everything you need to make this dream trip come true!

Minh, theme park reservations are released on a rolling basis up to 180 days out. Assuming you have standard theme park tickets, I believe the dates near the end of December were grayed out simply because they were not yet within the 180-day window. You should see additional dates available soon, though!

When you’re ready, check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to confirm your dates. Days that are already fully booked will have a slash. However, since you're planning well ahead, I don't anticipate any issues securing reservations with a multi-day ticket. If your plans shift later on, hakuna matata! Modifying your reservations is simple through the Disneyland website or mobile app. Just keep in mind that availability may become more limited as the dates approach, especially during the holiday season.

Minh, have you thought about where you will stay yet? Look into vacation packages, either with a Disneyland Resort hotel or a Good Neighbor hotel. These packages include both your hotel stay and theme park tickets. They also come with a few extra perks, including a collectible pin and lanyard, as well as savings at select locations in the Downtown Disney District.

I'm really looking forward to the holiday season – it's my favorite time of year at the Disneyland Resort. I can already picture the towering tree, festive wreaths, snow-capped castle, and twinkling lights. There's also nothing quite like A Christmas Fantasy Parade and the Believe...In Holiday Magic Fireworks show. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as I'm sure they will highlight seasonal offerings in the coming months.

Minh, I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is filled with fun, laughter, and holiday cheer. If any more questions come up as you plan your trip, please reach out. We’re always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
