I had the opportunity to experience
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in
Epcot four times on my June Walt Disney World vacation. I can tell you that it was simply amazing! Two of the four times, I purchased the Individual Lightning Lane, and the other two times, I used the virtual queue.
If you and your friend received to different times to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and you want to ride together, I would find The
Guest Experience Team (usually a Blue Umbrella labeled Guest Experience Team outside around Epcot). You can ask the Guest Experience Team if they can arrange for you to ride together. While there is no guarantee that the Cast Members can switch things around for you and your friend, sometimes they are able to work some magic, according to my experience. There was a Guest Experience Team location right in front of
Mission: SPACE on the way to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction when I was there in June 2022, so that would be the closest location to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
