Can we have a friend visit us at our hotel?

Hello Kylie! Welcome to planDisney! What is a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort without friends!?

Yes, a friend can visit you at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Last summer my family stayed at Disney’s Riviera Resort while my sister and her family stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We both visited each other during our vacation stay! Have a meal, enjoy some drinks, and visit the shops at the resort hotel! However, keep in mind that a non-registered Guest may not spend the night in your resort room.

I enjoy visiting hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection! It’s a nice way to explore resort hotels that you might want to book for a future Walt Disney World Resort vacation. During our visit last summer, my wife and I also took the short walk from Disney’s Rivera Resort to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. We visited the shops and toured the pool and resort area to get an idea if we'd like to book a stay for our whole family in the future.

I hope you enjoy your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
