Hey there Tela and welcome to planDisney!
It's so sweet of you to take the children along with you on a Walt Disney World Resort adventure. Anyone over 18 must provide
proof of Florida residency. But for the junior travelers in your group that reside in the Sunshine State, their parents can simply fill out the form marked "Your Florida Resident Information" when checking out during their
online ticket purchases. This way everything is settled before you even arrive at the Disney Parks. The kids can simply scan their
MagicBands with the rest of the group and walk right through those gates for a fabulous time.
Now I'm a regular September Walt Disney World aficionado myself and I have to encourage you to do 2 things.
1. Keep watch for what the
After Hours Event in Magic Kingdom Park will be this year. These are always a great way to kick off Spooky Season with a bang! My goddaughter can't wait to dress up in our corresponding Anna and Elsa costumes and make the trick or treating rounds through the park this year.
2.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is the best! I've done every festival EPCOT has to offer and this one is hands down my favorite! Global Marketplaces to celebrate the flavors of our world will leave your taste buds tingling and your tummies full. Ask my goddaughter who greedily ate all the shrimp out of my cold noodles, all of the duck off of my friend's duck confit poutine, and most of my jerk chicken. Now that's what I call an international feast!
Tela, you're the best for taking your friends' children with you on your magical visit. Please visit us again at planDisney if you need any more help!
Happy planning!
