my friend uses a glass straw for her sensitive teeth. Would she be allowed to bring this into the park? She has a small, hard carrying case for it. I know glass containers are not allowed, but I wasn't sure if that meant no glass of any kind.

Hi Felicity! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your friend's vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is only THREE days away! How exciting! I'm not sure if you are also visiting (I hope so!), but it is so kind of you to ask this question for her. Just like our favorite cowboy, Woody, she's got a friend in you!

Since the Park Rules state no glass containers are allowed, but does make the exception for small ones like baby food jars, I decided to ask a Cast Member where glass straws fall into this category. Unfortunately, I was informed that glass straws are not permitted in the theme parks. Hopefully your friend has some time prior to her trip to make other arrangements with paper, plastic, or stainless-steel reusable straws instead. She can also request no ice in her beverages at dining locations if she feels this would help with her sensitivity.

I hope this helps, Felicity! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
