Hi Susan! Welcome back to planDisney.
Oh Boy! I see you are a long-term planner like myself and all my planDisney pals. May is a favorite time of mine to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. Most spring-breakers are back at school, but summer vacations have not started in the States. Historically, you count on the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival to be in full bloom as well.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is indeed set up for those individuals who have trouble tolerating extended waits in traditional queue lines. I personally cannot decide if your friend will qualify, but I can offer you guidance on the process. As a guest from outside of the United States, she will have to register in person once she enters the theme park. Simply have her stop by
Guest Relations for a quick interview. My advice is to verify that her complete travel party is linked in her "Family and Friends List" under "My Profile" in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App before her Holiday.
If approved, she will then be able to choose select attractions for up to five additional travel friends to experience together. This can be done on the self-selection tool under the "DAS" tab in the app. Alternatively, she can stop by any
Guest Experience Team Blue Tent to ask for assistance.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
